Been a while...

Ok, so I haven't written on my blog in a long time...
So, I am working with animals here in Boise which is one of my interests. I was offered a design job, but they didn't offer benefits to full time employees and the pay wasn't all that great. However, I would have taken it if they offered benefits. What kind of company doesn't offer health insurance? Something tells me it wasn't meant to be.
So I am happy with the job I have now...and will just keep an eye out for other opportunities in the meantime. Last night was the company christmas party at Kat and Alexis' house. They own the Vet office and have an unaturally large house. Yes, it was REALLY nice. I was nervous about going being the "new girl" and well, that's how I am...but decided to go. I am glad that I went since I had a nice time and was able to talk with everyone outside of work. Although unlike previous company christmas parties...this one included naked people in a hot tub...yeah, that was unexpected.
Anyways, now that money is coming in we can start getting the apartment all cute. We bought another betta fish to put in one of those vases with a plant on top and you are able to see the betta swim around where the roots are. It's soo cool. We really need curtains and would love all new furniture. Hopefully once we are married a house will be in the works. Hopefully...
I am pretty much all done christmas shopping except for a few last minutes things for Josh. Yeah, I am getting all shopping done in advance next year. Everything I wanted to get online was backordered or waitlist only. Then I couldn't decide on what to get people in the stores. Sadly I won't be going home for Christmas. We had to postpone a trip to VT due to moving. I would love to go home sometime in February.
Well, the kitties need some attention and when Josh gets home it's grocery time. I better write a list or this could be a disaster.

lots to think about

yikes, I'm getting married. Whoa...it just hit me. I have to decide on where to have it, budget, etc,etc...ok, breathe...it's in a year and a half. However, that doesn't mean I shouldn't be planning it in the back of my mind. Well, hopefully I will be going to Vt in January and we can check out stuff when we are there. I would love to have it at a beautiful VT Inn with nice scenery or something like that....
much to think about.

Big News!

Well I have been in Boise for a week and in the apartment for a few days. I just love our apartment! The area is great. Lots of shopping and stuff to do. I am on the job hunt. I hope to find something asap!!!!
Anyways, time to share the big news. I am ENGAGED! Yes, Josh proposed to me on Saturday night. We hope to have the wedding in a year to a year and a half. My wish is to have it in VT.
Here's the ring...I couldn't get a good close up shot. So this is the best I can do...It has one large diamond in the middle, two smaller on each side, and litte tiny diamonds on the band.

Ok, taking a break from cleaning and packing. I have come to realize that I have an addiction. An addiction to shopping...for clothes. I have filled two large boxes with clothes and still have some left to pack. Is this sad...am I alone with this problem? Like how many sweaters does one person really need? yikes...
Oh who am I kidding...I love shopping! lol

Anyway, tomorrow is my last day being employed. Yeah, slightly stressed about that. I hate that feeling so much. Pray that I find a nice job asap.
I am sad to be moving farther from home, but will be closer to a few friends...good friends!
Oh and I guess they showed our apartment to some people yesturday. So that is good. Just embarrased at the fact that the place is a MESS. Stuff everywhere.
Anyway, enough rambling and procrastinating. Must finish packing so we can celebrate Josh's birthday tonight! I need a vanilla latte...

Lily and Dakota

We just spent way too much money on getting the kitties already to travel to Boise. They have new name tags, collars, kitty harnesses, leashes, and soft crates for them to ride in. Figured we would let them walk around on leashes when we take breaks from driving. These two are spoiled. Lily is the orange one and Dakota is the grey one.
